CRPF officer found dead in Jammu

An officer of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died under mysterious circumstances at headquarters in Bantalab area in the outskirts of the city."Sub-inspector Chaman Lal, 54, of 24 Battalion CRPF, was found unconscious in his room at Group Centre, Bantalab," the police said.

"Sub-inspector Chaman Lal, 54, of 24 Battalion CRPF, was found unconscious in his room at Group Centre, Bantalab," the police said.

He was immediately shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu where he was declared brought dead.

A case has been registered and investigations are in progress.
