Terming the statement by the BJP national chief as a result of his frustration as the BJP badly lost byelections during Shah's tenure, Dushyant said before making such baseless accusations, Shah must not forget that the BJP was a part of the INLD government in Haryana before parting ways in the 2009 assembly polls.

"Shah must clarify that if the INLD was spreading "Goondaraj" when it was in power in Haryana, why did the BJP not withdraw its support then? They could have at least raised their voice against the INLD if it was so. None of the BJP leaders spoke publically during INLD rule now they are targeting INLD only because they are aware that INLD is set to form the next government in Haryana," Dushyant said.

He also targeted Shah by saying the BJP doesn't respect its elders. "Look, what has happened to stalwarts like LK Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi and many others," he said.
