ENT workshop to start tomorrow at PGI

The department of otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) will organise the third three-day ENT (eyes, nose, throat) surgical workshop here, beginning Friday.

The mission of the conference is, "Rehabilitation of hearing, vision and voice handicap." The session will start with a cadaveric dissection workshop. Experts, including, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) director Dr RC Deka, and others will be present during the workshop.

Various issues such as benign intracranial hypertension, cochlear implantation, voice disorders and their surgical management will be discussed.
