Inconvenience is caused to commuters as vendors install their stalls almost on the road to sell flowers making the area congested, especially on Tuesday and Saturday.

Residents living near the temple are a harried lot. They say that despite complaining to the MC several times, no notice has been taken of the problem and the flower vendors continue to set up their stalls in the same area. Huge rush can be witnessed every evening near the temple.

Adding to the woes, people park their vehicles in front of the temple which further congests the area already encroached upon by the flower vendors.
Smita Sharma, a resident who lives near the temple, says the vendors have become a nuisance as they not only cause traffic snarls but also "indulge in anti-social activities". There have been instances when flower vendors have indulged in duel with residents and visitors, causing harassment to them.

"The flower vendors have been told not to encroach upon the road. We will take action against them if they do not abide by the law," Malhotra adds.
