Commenting on service matter and financial demand of the employees, the president of federation, Govind Chatranta, alleged that the present management stopped the benefits attached to service at par with other government departments on one pretext or other.

"The financial benefits like 10% dearness allowance, opening of promotional avenues to Class-IV employees and other categories are being deferred since long," said Chatranta.

"The daily wagers have not been given the enhanced minimum wage while the issue of their regularisation has been hanging fire since long, even as the government and corporate sector implemented the same long back," he added.

He said that 80 daily wagers and 20 part-time workers were being deprived of their rights, including legitimate minimum wage and regularization of service.

"He said that contrary to the decision taken in the meeting of board of directors last year, the management has illegally upgraded and retained some posts in the corporation causing an extra burden of Rs 4 lakh per month on the corporation," said Chatranta.

Chatranta alleged that the decisions taken by the management during the past and one-and-half-year were not financially viable.
