Former minister to join BJP on August 16

Showing solidarity with Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh, former Haryana minister Ved Singh Malik on Wednesday announced to part ways the ruling party at Sonepat. Malik, while addressing mediapersons, said that he too would join the BJP on August 16 at Jind, along with Birender Singh, in the presence of BJP chief Amit Shah.

Malik, while addressing mediapersons, said that he too would join the BJP on August 16 at Jind, along with Birender Singh, in the presence of BJP chief Amit Shah.

Notably, Malik was elected MLA from erstwhile Kailana constituency(now Gannaur) in 1987 on a Lok Dal ticket and served as a minister till 1991.

Meanwhile, resented over ticket distribution, senior INLD leader and district president of Kisan Cell, Ram Kishan Saroha, resigned from the party.
