Reacting to a statement from the Congress leaders that they would “gherao” BJP president Amit Shah in Amritsar on January 12 when he would arrive there to launch a campaign against drugs, Chugh said the Congress had forgotten that Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also summoned its Jalandhar parliamentarian Chaudhary Santokh Singh in the drug racket case.

“Even after this, if the Congress still tries to disrupt a noble cause like the campaign against drugs, the BJP will resist it with all its might,” said Chugh.
