Actor-social activist Gul Panag, 35, will be declared today as Aam Aadmi Party's candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, according to her family.

' Gul is on as the AAP nominee' her father Lt Gen H S Panag (retd.) told Hindustan Times on Thursday morning.

AAP leader Manish Sisodia is scheduled to make a formal announcement on Gul's candidature at a press conference in the afternoon.

" Gul is relocating from Mumbai to Chandigarh and shall run a clean campaign with a personal touch " Gen Panag said.
