Hamir utsav to be held from Nov 11 to 13

A three-day Hamir utsav (Hamir fair) will be held from November 11 to 13 at local schools ground. This festival coincides with the formation of Hamirpur as a fully fledged district on September 1, 1972.

A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner Rohan Chand Thakur here on Tuesday. He said, besides, holding cultural programmes, exhibitions by various government and semi-government offices would be held during the festival.
