Haryana Governor's plane catches fire at Chd airport

The Haryana government’s official plane with Governor, Jagnanath Pahadia on board caught fire while taking –off on the runaway at the Chandigarh airport this morning. Pahadia, some officials and crew had a narrow escape. Governor suffered minor injuries, according to state civil aviation officials.

Governor suffered minor injuries, according to state civil aviation officials. Governor was taken to the hospital and released after first aid. The incident took place around 10:45am and normal operations at Chandigarh domestic airport got effected.

Three flights too got delayed over an hour as mishap blocked the main runaway of the airport. Things got back to the normal after 1:00 pm.
