Chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) Ram Kishan Fouji rubbished the charge and he was backed by chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLAs created ruckus over the issue, leading to their suspension from the assembly. Later, BJP leader in the House Anil Vij, who also sought action against Fouji, was suspended.

The INLD leaders submitted a memorandum to governor Jagannath Pahadia in this regard in the evening.

The day saw the arrival of Sirsa MLA Gopal Kanda, accused in airhostess Geetika Sharma suicide case, who was on Thursday granted interim bail by a Delhi court till October 4 for attending the session.

An eighth-part report of the assembly committee, which examined irregularities by trusts and societies of former chief minister Om Prakash Chautala's family, was tabled in the House. It concluded that land was allotted illegally to Chaudhry Devi Lal Memorial Trusts in Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh.
