Issuing notice of motion to the Haryana government on a petition filed by Manoj Kumar Jaswal of Faridabad, the division bench comprising acting chief justice Jasbir Singh and justice Rakesh Kumar Jain has also directed the authorities to inform that how many complaints have been received against such schools and what action has been taken on them.

Appearing for the petitioner, advocate Sajjan Singh Malik argued that the fact that around 550 schools were unrecognised in Faridabad had come up in a survey done by the Haryana education department itself and the department concerned had not taken any action against such institutions.

The petitioner also submitted the names of such schools namely St Florence Public School and TR Public School in market no. 1 Faridabad, Emmanuel Mission Public School and TR Public School in Pali, Faridabad.
