Exuding confidence that Congress will win over 70 seats in the 117-member assembly, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Amarinder Singh on Monday ridiculed the claims of exit poll surveys which predict a close fight between ruling SAD-BJP combine and the Congress.

"I do not agree with the exit poll reports of your channels. We would get not less than 70 seats. I have already asserted on polling day that we will get 70-plus seats," Amarinder told reporters here.

Asked about his priorities if his party gets a majority, Amarinder alleged that in the past five years SAD-BJP government had failed on all fronts and development of the state had been pushed on the backburner.

"We will have to work hard to undo the wrong doings of SAD-BJP government," he said.
