“This year, you will see me doing lots of endorsements but there will be separate contracts (between personal and the team’s sponsors). I am not going to come as a ‘one plus one free’ deal anymore,” says the actor.

In an earlier interview, the actor had said that back in the day she had as many as 14 endorsements under her belt, second only to Amitabh Bachchan’s. However, she terminated many contracts after she got involved with her T20 team. “I wasn’t as powerful or as bright as SRK (Shah Rukh Khan, actor) to bring his endorsements to his cricket team (SRK also owns a T20 team in the same domestic league). For me, it was a conflict of interests between the brands. I had to get out of contracts as I was building the cricket team as a brand too. That’s why I stayed away from a lot of endorsements,” she says.
