Kullu received drizzling throughout the day, while upper reaches of district received snowfall in the region, which plummeted the temperature.
Manali town received 6 cm snowfall, Solang Nullah 12 cm and Rohtang pass received more than a foot snowfall, while tribal district Lahaul and Spiti at Koksar witnessed 30 cm snow and Udaipur and Keylong 3 cm.
Lahaul and Spiti deputy commissioner Hansraj Chauhan said traffic on district roads remained blocked.
However, the tourists enjoyed the snowfall, while hotel industry was also cheered with the fresh snowfall.
Horticulturists and agriculturists of the district also seemed happy as they consider snowfall during this time of the year as boon for agriculture industry.
