The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said the interlocutors' report on Jammu and Kashmir was against the Parliament resolution, which declared that the whole state, including Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), was an integral part of India.
Addressing a dharna organised by Jammu and Kashmir People's Forum here, BJP leader and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said: "The language in this report is the language of the separatists. It speaks volumes about the human rights violation of terrorists, but has failed to include the voices of those who have been the real sufferers. What about those who have migrated from Pakistan?"
Swaraj said the term "Pakistan-administered Kashmir" was used by former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf. "I don't understand why the interlocutors used it," she said. Instead of speaking about integration, she said, terms such as 'autonomy', 'self-rule' and 'independence' had been used in the report.
Swaraj attacked the report, saying that its recommendations and suggestions were "anti-constitutional" and that it was "merely singing to the tune of the separatists".
After the dharna, a copy of the report was burnt by senior BJP leaders, including Vijay Goel, Jagdish Muskhi and others.
Addressing the dharna, RSS leader Ram Madhav said the report was against the spirit of non-negotiable integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India in 1947. "Mirpur, Muzaffrabad and Gilgit, are ours. This report has included only sentiments of the leaders of Kashmir Valley. Any report should have the sentiments in it, but it should not be against the Constitution," Madhav said.

"But the report does not say how the sufferings and victimization of Pandits can be stopped," he said. Terming the interlocutors' report as one that would "divide the country", Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) member Surendra Jain said that a whopping Rs 96.5 crore was wasted by the three-member team during their visit to 22 villages.
