Israel comes to farmers' aid

Farmers in Haryana will be able to get tips from Israeli agricultural experts on how to increase productivity by adopting innovative methods of farming.

Farmers in Haryana will be able to get tips from Israeli agricultural experts on how to increase productivity by adopting innovative methods of farming. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who is in Israel on a six-day tour, signed an agreement with Israeli agricultural minister Orit Noked on Monday.

Hooda will form a working group of experts. It will be headed by the finance commissioner and principal secretary, agriculture, Roshan Lal, with vice chancellor of the Haryana Agricultural University and director general, horticulture, as its members.
