J&K: militant hideout unearthed in Kishtwar

Security forces have unearthed a militant hideout in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered arms and ammunition, including 3 kg of explosives.

"On a tip off, troops of the Rashtriya Rifles and police during a search operation unearthed a hideout in Mughal Maidan area of Kishtwar district on Thursday," a defence spokesman said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 3 kg explosive, three detonators, one IED remote, one country-made rifle, three bundles of cable, 10 rounds of 303 ammunition, nine rounds of AK ammunition, one khukri and one bottle of oil, he said.
