Jindal art festival held in Hisar

The Vidya Devi Jindal School on Friday organised the 21st Jindal Art Festival to mark the 84th birth anniversary of its founder OP Jindal. A variety of art competitions were organised in which 22 schools participated.

The Vidya Devi Jindal School on Friday organised the 21st Jindal Art Festival to mark the 84th birth anniversary of its founder OP Jindal. A variety of art competitions were organised in which 22 schools participated.

The event started with the presentation of the guard of honour to all dignitaries by school NCC cadets and by hoisting of the National Flag. Indian contemporary artist Sri Ananda Moy Banerji was chief guest on the occasion.

The competitions were held in pen and ink drawing, Rangoli, best out of waste, clay modelling, sculpture (wood carving), Mehndi, outdoor water colour painting, fabric painting on cloth, pot designing, logo designing, portrait painting and tattoo making. School administrator Gautam Sharma welcomed the guests and principal Nandita Sahu presented the vote of thanks.
