Party's state unit president Shantnu Singh presided over the function and said if voted to power, the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) would restore students' unions in the colleges and universities in Haryana. He appealed the JSO members to enroll youths in the organisation and launch a door-to-door campaign to broaden the base of the party.

Former parliamentary secretary Dura Ram and students leaders - Rajesh Chaudhry, Varun Gaur, Sahil, Mohit and Pawan were present on the occasion.
