Kamal Kanta Batra, mother of Kargil war martyr Bikram Batra, who unsuccessfully contested Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday decided to quit the party and the politics.

She said that she was not satisfied the way the Indian politics was going on. Batra said that neither she would rejoin any of the party nor support them in the coming elections. Batra said her decision was final and it was AAP's weakness that led her to quit politics. "It was fine in the beginning, but the situation became grave later on," she added.
