Many of us have read Rhonda Byrne’s best selling book of 2006 — The Secret, which is based on the law of attraction and assures us that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased wealth, health and happiness. A meeting with a California-based couple, Patricia Crane and Rick Nichols, who are renowned spiritualists and healers, would remind one of the book.
The duo claims to offer more than what The Secret gave us at the three-day (February 8-10) workshop, Heal Yourself & Achieve your Dreams, being held in Chandigarh for the teachers of Vivek High School, Sector 38.
“The Secret explained that our life depends on the law of attraction, but didn’t tell us how to use it. We tell you how to use the law of attraction. Being positive is not the only thing to be done, there also needs to be healing of the mind, body, emotions and spirit. Problems related to money, relationship troubles or health issues keep troubling us. But, there are ways to solve these not just through mental healing, but also emotional and spiritual,” they say.
The couple adds that in the process of teaching methods of self-healing, they make people pay attention to the body part that aches or suffers from any kind of chronic pain. “We also teach people positive affirmation and meditation exercises. There are other methods, such as ‘Inner Child Exercise’ or the ‘Mirror Exercise’, in which we make a person look into the mirror and convince him or her to be willing to learn and approve of themselves. We show people how not be stuck in one point of time. Forgiving the past and those who have created problems in your life is another step towards changing your life,” share Patricia and Rick.

Life brings back the past, as we keep repeating the same mistakes, be it falling in the same relationships that don’t work or getting into the similar kind of job that wouldn’t make us happy,” offer Patricia and Rick.
