Live explosive found in Ferozepur

A canon bombshell was recovered in an agricultural field in Peer K Khangarh village in Punjab.

A canon bombshell was recovered in an agricultural field in Peer K Khangarh village in this district of Punjab today.

Police sources said the bombshell was found in the field of Sahib Singh, situated near the railway crossing at Peer K Khangarh.

The farmer informed the police and on receiving the information, DSP Jagjeet Singh Sarao, RPF Inspector Ram Gopal and GRP Inspector Gurbax Singh rushed to the spot. Army experts were also called by the police who said the bombshell seemed to be a live explosive.
