A bus driver raped Moga woman in a hotel near interstate bus ter minal on Thursday.The driver was woman’s family friend, and she had come to take back his money that she had given to the accused a few months ago.

The Division Number 5 police registered a case under section 376 (rape) against the accused, which has been identified as Balwinder Singh, a resident of Mehna village of Moga.

He works as a driver in Jujhar Transport.

The victim alleged that she had given 60,000 to the accused a few months back, and she had asked him to return the money back.
She said the accused had asked him to come to Ludhiana to get back his money.
