Mayor celebrates Holi with MC's female staffers
The municipal corporation (MC) Chandigarh organised an all-women 'Holi Milan Samaroh' inside the office premises on Thursday. All the female employees of the MC took part in the celebrations, besides the city mayor, Poonam Sharma, who was the chief guest.

The municipal corporation (MC) Chandigarh organised an all-women 'Holi Milan Samaroh' inside the office premises on Thursday. All the female employees of the MC took part in the celebrations, besides the city mayor, Poonam Sharma, who was the chief guest.
Others present at the function were deputy mayor Gurbax Rawat, former mayor Harjinder Kaur, the MC commissioner's wife, Archna Verma Singh, besides prominent educationists and women councillors.
The Mayor said it was for the first time that such an event was organized by the MC. She said more such function, meant exclusively for women, will be organized in the time to come.
