Milkfed procured 381 lakh kg milk in November

Stating this on Tuesday, a Milkfed spokesman said the daily average milk procurement of the co-operative was 12.68 lakh kg. He added that 64,475 sick animals were treated in Punjab through 561 first-aid centres and 1,763 veterinary centres of Milkfed.

He said cattle feed, mineral mixture, lick-brick and fodder seeds were sold by Milkfed to the tune of 5,414 metric tonnes, 4,673 kg, 275 kg and 8,886 kg, respectively, to the milk producers. Milkfed has also sold 80.7 metric tonnes of ghee through its societies in the state, he added.
