The SAS Nagar police sent the Pakistani national, who complained of attempted forcible liver donation by his countrymen, to his native place in Islamabad on Monday after handing over the required documents to cross the border.
On Saturday, Adeel Hussain, 29, was sent back from the AttariWagha checkpost to SAS Nagar as he did not have the required documents to cross the border. But now, the police have checked all the documents and handed it over to Hussain before sending him to Pakistan. On Thursday, Hussain was made board a bus to Amritsar by the police without even checking the required documents so that he can cross border and enter Pakistan. But from Amritsar, he was told, he could go back to Pakistan through the Attari-Wagah border.
Superintendent of police (headquarter) SP (h), Harpal Singh Sandhu said after returning from Amritsar, the police had again recorded his statement. Hussian, in his statement said, “He doesn’t want to donate his part of liver and want to go back to his home town.”
The SP added that Hussain had refused to reveal the reason for denying to donate liver.
The authorities of Fortis hospital where Hussain was brought to donate a part of liver by his countrymen said, Hussain had been undergoing tests before liver transplantation operation to check the medical compatibility. But he suddenly fled from the hospital without informing the reason.

The hospital authorities said after the denial of Hussain, his brother came forward to donate the part of liver, but after conducting his tests, he has found medically incompatible.
On July 10, Hussain escaped from the hospital and reached the Phase-8 police station. He accused that two of his countrymen for forcible donation of liver.
