The Panjab University Student Union (PUSU) on Wednesday alleged that the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) workers staged plays in different girls' hostels without permission from the authorities on Wednesday.

In violation of poll norms, the skits were performed around 7pm in the girls' hostel numbers 2, 3 and 3, PUSU alleged.
“We want PU to take action against them. The plays were held without any prior permission,” PUSU leader Satinder Singh said.
