The leader of the opposition Vidya Stokes again tried to raise the issue of charges of corruption and amassing wealth against Bindal as soon as the House assembled and Congress members rushed to the well after the Speaker Tulsi Ram said he had called the leader of the opposition yesterday but she did not turn up.

He said he had already given the ruling on the adjournment motion and rejected it and the ruling stands. The Speaker said there was no solid evidence or document in support of the corruption charges and as such he did not accept the notice for adjournment motion.

As the Speaker went ahead with the Question Hour Congress, members raised slogans entered the well and disrupted the proceedings. Meanwhile Himachal chief minister PK Dhumal described the rail budget as 'disappointing' and said the interests of Himachal Pradesh have been 'ignored' again.

He also said the interest of the state has been once again overlooked in the rail budget. "In spite of repeated demand for construction of Mandi-Manali-Leh-Ladakh railway line, the attitude of the centre was indifferent. The centre did not show any inclination to go ahead with expanding and strengthening the rail network in the state," Dhumal said.
