The members of the association will wear black badges to work on February 20 and participate in the rally to be organised by the All-India Centre of Trade Unions at the Sector-25 rally ground here.

Several trade union federations have called for countrywide protests on the two days. Meanwhile, PGI Nurses' Welfare Association, Nurses Union of AIIMS, New Delhi, and other nurses' unions are going to organise a protest rally at Jantar Mantar on February 27 to demand change in the nomenclature of nurses from sister grade 1 and sister grade 2 to senior nursing officer and nursing officer, respectively. Association president Lakhvinder Singh said men, too, were in the profession. “It seems awkward when people call men sisters,” he said.
