The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) - the youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - on Sunday accused chief minister Virbhadra Singh's son and youth Congress chief Vikramaditya Singh of misusing government machinery, saying he had been allotted a pilot car by the police.

BJYM chief Sunil Thakur said Vikramaditya Singh does not hold any constitutional post and is not eligible for a pilot vehicle. "There is a protocol for allotting pilot cars but Vikramaditya Singh is not even an elected ward member or Panchayati Raj member and he has been given a police driven pilot car," Thakur said.

"Deputy commissioners and other government officials have also been reporting to Vikramaditya," he added.

The BJYM also questioned the department of labour and employment for inviting Vikramaditya as chief guest in 'Rozgar Melas' (employment fairs). "Rozgar Melas are organised by state funds which is hard-earned money of common people but the state government credited the programme to youth Congress especially to Vikramaditya Singh," he said.

BJYM also accused chief minister Virbhadra Singh of promoting his son at the cost of government machinery and state exchequer instead of doing.
