Varsity vice-chancellor Maj Gen Ranjit Singh (retd) said that Haryana governor Jagannath Pahadia, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, education minister Geeta Bhukkal and other dignitaries would also attend the function.

He said that the President would inaugurate the university campus and also give away gold medals and degrees to the students. In addition to it he would also inaugurate the innovation exhibition. The governor would release the inaugural issue of journal, innovation club and inspired teacher's monograph of the university.

Though the university was established in 2009 and was working at a temporary venue, it was shifted to its campus in August 2013.

"Knowing the importance of inclusive growth, we have adopted two government schools of Jant-Pali villages where free remedial classes are run for the students of neighbouring schools," he said and added that a large number of trees had been planted.
