PU don gets prestigious JC Bose fellowship

Panjab University's Dean Research Prof Ravinder Kumar Kohli has secured the prestigious JC Bose national fellowship instituted by the government of India to recognise active scientists and engineers for their outstanding performance and contributions.

Panjab University's Dean Research Prof Ravinder Kumar Kohli has secured the prestigious JC Bose national fellowship instituted by the government of India to recognise active scientists and engineers for their outstanding performance and contributions.

The duration of the fellowship is five years and each fellow receives Rs 25,000 per month apart from a contingency fund of Rs 10 lakh per annum for research and other expenses.
JC Bose national fellows are eligible for regular research grants through extramural funding schemes of various S&T agencies of the government of India.

Prof Kohli of botany department had also bagged prestigious fellowships of Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, recently.
