Panjab University will conduct counselling for centralised admissions of BCom- 1 for city colleges and PU department of evening studies at law auditorium, PU, from July 3 to 7.
PU said that the presence of the applicant at the time of counselling was mandatory for admission. PU has advised students to ? 18,000 approximately for private colleges and ? 8000 for government colleges to be deposited at the time of admission.
Counselling for both the general and reserved categories of the outstation pool and the first 150 ranks of the general category from the UT pool will be conducted on July 3. Counselling for the rest of the candidates under the general category in the UT pool will be conducted between July 3 to 6 while that for the reserved category will be would be held after July 6.
Counselling for both general and reserved categories for admission to PU’s department of evening studies would be conducted on July 7.
PU has permitted shifting of colleges only in the second round of counselling, scheduled to be held on July 24 and 25.
Seats falling vacant on account of de-reservation would also be filled in the second counselling. There are 2,100 BCom seats at PU and its affiliated colleges in Chandigarh.

PGGC-11, a college for men, has 140 seats.

Original documents of Class 12 of the board concerned, Class 10 certificate showing date of birth, proof for claim of reserved category, character certificate from the institution last attended and one set of self-attested photocopy of the documents.
In case of any break in education or for single girl child, an affidavit attested by the magistrate first class explaining the reason for the break or affirming that the candidate is a single girl child, whichever may be the case, would also required to be submitted.
