Punjab health minister Surjit Kumar Jyani gave away appointment letters to 310 doctors, on Saturday. The doctors have been selected on regular basis for the health and family welfare department.

These doctors have been given stations on merit and as per their choice and they would undergo an induction training course at the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare.
Jyani addressed the doctors and asked them to do their duty with dedication and sincerity and contribute towards welfare of the society. He added that the state government was committ ed to provide better health care service to the people of the state.
