Punjab: NRI sangat darshan on Jan 16, 18

The Punjab government will hold the second and third phases of the NRI sangat darshan in Jalandhar and Ludhiana on January 16 and 18, respectively. The first-phase sangat darshan was held in Moga last month.

Stating this here on Monday, NRI affairs minister Tota Singh said NRIs from the districts of Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur and Pathankot would be covered at the sangat darshan in Jalandhar, while NRIs from the districts of Ludhiana, Nawanshahr, Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Sangrur, Rupnagar and Mohali would air their grievances at the Ludhiana sangat darshan.

The top brass of the police and the civil administration would be deployed at the two venues.
