Punjab Vidhan Sabha passes resolution urging govt to take up HSGMC issue with Centre

By voice vote Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Thursday passed a resolution strongly recommending the state government to take up the matter with the Centre to restrain any state government from interfering in the religious affairs/religious institutions of other states. Bibi Jagir Kaur of the Akali Dal moved the resolution and lambasted Haryana government for setting up a separate body for managing affairs of Sikh shrines of Haryana.
