It will cause scattered to fairly widespread rainfall or snow over Jammu Kashmir from January 21 to 23; besides scattered light to moderate rainfall or snow over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from January 20 to 23. Isolated heavy rainfall or snow may also occur over Jammu Kashmir on January 22 and 23.

Scattered to fairly widespread moderate to dense fog (visibility 500 to 50 metres) with isolated very dense fog (visibility less than 50 metres) will occur over most parts of northwest Indian plains (Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab and Rajasthan) from January 16 to 19. The intensity of the fog will decrease between January 20 and 23 and increase from January 24 onwards.

Because of the interaction of this Western Disturbance with south easterlies and easterlies waves, isolated to scattered rainfall or thundershowers may occur over Punjab and Haryana and isolated rainfall or thundershowers over north Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
