An official spokesman said in Chandigarh on Friday that the bypoll would be held as per the directions of Election Commission of India.

Polling was disrupted during the byelection yesterday after some miscreants stormed the polling booth in Adampur assembly constituency where 41 candidates include former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal.
