SAD to support NDA presidential candidate, says Badal

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal today said that the Shiromani Akali Dal would support NDA's decision on presidential candidate.

He said that the SAD was committed to toe the line of action as decided by the NDA as its key ally.

The SAD patron said that party's Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Gujral would attend a meeting convened by the NDA in New Delhi on Friday to finalise the name of the candidate for President.
