Soft toy making training: Mayor distributes professional kits to 55 women

Mayor Poonam Sharma on Friday distributed certificates and professional kits to 55 women during a convocation ceremony held at the community sewa kendra, Sector 25.

The women, who reside in Sector 25 and Sector 52, were imparted 300-hour training in soft toy making under the supervision of the municipal corporation (MC).

Lauding the MC for focussing on inclusive growth through skill development, the Mayor said: "I am proud to be here to see how lives of underprivileged persons are being slowly transformed."

She also talked about various works being carried out under the National Urban Livelihoods Mission (NULM) in the city.
