Hosts St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, defeated St John’s School, Sector 26, by seven wickets to set up title clash with St Joseph’s School, Sector 44, in the 12th Molly Carver Memorial Cricket Tournament at St Stephen’s School-45 on Wednesday.

Batting first, St John’s managed to score 136 for the loss of nine wickets in 25 overs. Nikhil with 28 runs was the top scorer, while Adil and Raj contributed 16 runs each. Angad made 14 runs. Prabhsimran was the pick of the bowlers for St Stephen’s. He took three wickets for 24 runs. He was ably supported by Shivank Sharma who also took three wickets for 35 runs.
In reply, St Stephen’s School achieved the target making 137 runs in 24.2 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Anshul Chaudhary led the batting with an unbeaten 58. He was ably supported by Prabhsimran Singh who made 30, while Bhupinder Pratap scored 23 runs. Sahil (1 for 27) and Ratish (1 for 15) were the wicket takers for St John’s.
