An accident victim was asked to go elsewhere. Karan, grandson of Shanker Lal, told that the doctor had asked to go elsewhere as there was no one to give first aid. Lal was hit by a Honda Activa scooter in Sector 6. He had suffered injuries on arms and legs.

Manohar Lal, a resident of Kalka, said he had been waiting for hours as there was no one to conduct medical tests.

"Doctors have prescribed us some tests but as there was no one to attend us, we were asked to come on Friday now,"he said.

In absence of staff, the family members had to move patients on wheelchairs and stretchers.
