Two held, twenty rounded up for immoral trafficking in Manali

The police rounded up about 20 people on the suspicion of immoral trafficking and arrested a hotel manager and a woman in Aleu, 4km from Manali, on Tuesday evening.

The police rounded up about 20 people on the suspicion of immoral trafficking and arrested a hotel manager and a woman in Aleu, 4km from Manali, on Tuesday evening.

Kullu deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Sanjay Sharma said they received a tip-off about a sex racket operating from a hotel in Aleu, following which they raided the hotel and arrested the hotel manager and a woman from Punjab, who was the kingpin of the racket.

The duo was on Wednesday presented before a court that sent them to three-day police remand. Further investigation is on.
