As an aspirant for civil services, I found it a real struggle to balance attending coaching classes for the exam with the law course at Delhi University. But, I had my heart set on getting a law degree, so I tried my best to attend both classes.

However, in spite my best efforts, it remained a challenge to log in the mandatory attendance. I still recall the jitters I felt when the lectures were counted. I even had to depend upon some close friends to act as proxy for attendance. In spite of this, I miss my campus days as it was the time when I realised the importance of good friends in life.

My friends always stood by me — from helping me with important notes to questions to providing me additional relevant study material, they did everything to make it easier for me. A big bag on my shoulder and a sprint from my classrooms in university to the library via Meghdoot hostel and then to the coaching classes was tiring but hanging out at Kamla Nagar and Connaught Place in New Delhi for a break was a good rejuvenation exercise.
