After two accused got bail in the Rohtak shelter home abuse case on Thursday, the third one got released here on Friday as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) failed to file a chargesheet against him even after 90 days of arresting him.
Bhim Singh Ranga, former investigating officer in the case, had allegedly removed the laptop seized from the shelter home, which allegedly contained the footage of inmates being sexually abused by the accused.
He had been arrested on July 5.
On Thursday, Harvinder Singh and Dayanand, also accused of destroying evidence, were granted bail.
Last week, the Punjab and Haryana high court had directed the CBI to file status report in the case before October 16.
The division bench headed by justice Jasbir Singh issued the orders while hearing a revival application moved by advocate Anil Malhotra.
The application submitted that the high court had on July 19 given two months' period to the CBI to complete the probe but since the stipulated period was over on September 18, investigations were still not completed.

{{/usCountry}}The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had conducted a surprise raid at the shelter home on May 9 after which the case had come to light.
Later, a four-member advocates' committee constituted by the high court had submitted in its report that the inmates were subjected to sexual assault, brutal beating, starvation, naked parade, pornography, forcible abortions, forceful intoxication by Jaswanti Devi, her relatives, outsiders and also policemen.
The case was handed over to the CBI, which registered the FIR on July 12.
CBI has so far filed chargesheets against Jaswanti Devi, her brother Jaswant Singh, daughter Simmi, son-in-law Jai Bhagwan, driver Satish, Satish's sister Sheila and counsellor Veena.
