All the junctions will be re designed by BBMP’s engineering cell in a way that they provide safety for pedestrians and commuters. We need support and cooperation from people of Bengaluru as there might be temporary inconvenience due to repair works,” he said.

During the presentation of state budget this year, Karnataka government allocated Rs. 350 crores for the construction of a five-kilometers elevated road in Bengaluru to further tackle congestion. Rs. 300 crore was further allocated for construction of roads in Bengaluru, while Rs. 1000 crore was granted for white topping of 120 kilometres.
