    Bengaluru rains: Karnataka CM assures relief

    “There has been a lot of rain in Bengaluru, I have spoken to the BBMP commissioner. The rains (flooding) has happened in the same places as before which include Bommanahalli, Mahadevapura. Nearly 30 places have been impacted. I have asked that two SDRF (State Disaster Relief Force) be sent to Mahadevapura and Bommanahalli”, says chief minister Basavaraj Bommai. 

    He added that more relief workers would be sent if required.

    "Wherever there is water logging on roads, have instructed them (relief efforts) to drain it out. We have already made a plan on how to create temporary drains, all of this will be done," he added
