A 26-year old man was found murdered in Sonepat’s Rai on Saturday evening, the police said.
The deceased has been identified as Vishal Kumar, a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, and was working as a plant operator at a private company in the Rai Industrial Area. The police said that his body was recovered from the fields in Jatheri village of the district. In the police complaint, the victim’s father Shiv Kumar, has accused the victim’s neighbour, Ombir Singh, and his son, Anuj Kumar, of beating his son to death.

ASI Ravinder said that on the complaint of the accused, the police have booked the accused on the charges of murder. The body has been handed over to the family members after the postmortem examination.
