Army’s prompt action saved several houses after fire broke out in Chak Sanzipora village in Langate area of Kupwara.
The fire started from a cowshed and spread to the adjoining neighbourhood, however army from the nearby Qalamabad (Kalamchakla) camp immediately reached the spot and brought it under control with the assistance of fire & emergency services and locals. Only one cow shed was damaged.
